BUYING A HOLIDAY HOME IN BRITTANY
So what’s involved in buying a mobile home in France?
Whether you’re looking for a family holiday base in France or a part-time residence, a mobile home is the ideal low cost solution.
There is no solicitor involvement or legal fees to be paid. All meetings and paperwork are conducted in plain English. We will be your personal guide and will take you through each stage of the process. Please follow our step-by-step guide (below) to owning your holiday home in France!
STEP BY STEP BUYING GUIDE
Step 1 Make Contact
We are based by the leisure parks and have direct contact with the mobile home manufacturers. We are therefore ideally placed to advise on which holiday home suits your needs and provide detailed information on the leisure parks. Our local knowledge will help steer you in the right direction and we welcome the opportunity to share this information. The Getaway Holiday Homes sales brochure is full of useful information and specific details. Get a feel of what is available and view in detail the holiday homes for sale.
Step 2 Plan a visit: with accommodation
Why not come to view the facilities and holiday homes on offer? This is by far the best way to get to know the local area and meet us and the campsite owners. We will be on hand throughout your stay to answer any queries and introduce you to this wonderful region of France.
Getaway Holiday Homes offer a 2 night accommodation package to help make your visit easier. We are also able to supply discount ferry travel to keep the cost of your visit to a bare minimum. All trips are undertaken on a strictly no obligation to buy basis and no pressure sales. We strongly believe the mobile homes and leisure parks sell themselves!
Step 3 Order/Buy Your Home
Once you have viewed the homes and local area, you will have all the right information to make an informed decision. If after your trip you wish to purchase a home of your choice, we will act on your behalf. Some mobile homes are available for immediate purchase whilst others require a short delivery period. We will advise you straight away when your new holiday home will be available.
Step 4 Delivery and Installation
Once we have confirmed with you the leisure park, emplacement and holiday home you have chosen, we will then act on your behalf. The homes are delivered direct to the leisure park by trained professional companies and once delivered it will be sited and connected on the emplacement of your choice. After installation a full inspection of all the mobile home appliances and gas boiler will take place. There are no extra charges for these services. Getaway Holiday Homes include all of these services in the cost price of your home. There are no extra charges and no hidden fees!
Step 5 Take hold of your Keys!
Once delivered and checked, your new holiday home will be ready for immediate use. So, without delay you can start to enjoy your very own holiday accommodation in Brittany, France!

AFTERCARE SERVICE
Our participation does not end once you have purchased a holiday home. As we are based close by to the leisure parks we are able to offer a fully managed service. This includes year round maintenance & safety equipment checks. All new homes come with extensive warranties and our on going relationship with the mobile home manufacturer will ensure your homes remain in good safe working order.
LETTING SERVICE
For those who wish to earn extra income there is the possibility of sub letting your new holiday home when not in use.
Each Leisure Park offers superb facilities for holiday makers and is based in very desirable locations. Letting services can be provided through either our holiday management company (Getaway2France) or via the individual campsite owner. There are no intrusive contracts and no restrictions on your personal usage. Letting agreements can be decided on a yearly basis depending on when you are planning to use your home and for how often.
